The Role We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and committed GCSE English Tutor to join our dynamic academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in both GCSE English Language and English Literature to secondary level students.
This is a part-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and effective GCSE English Language and Literature lessons.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with the centre's team to ensure student success.
Candidate RequirementsEssential:
- A Minimum Bachelor's degree & 3 years of teaching experience (required).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students.
- Availability to teach in-person at our Dartford centre (DA1 2EH).
Desirable (Bonus):
- Experience in teaching A-Level
- Working Hours & Availability Our centre operates during the following hours:Weekdays: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Weekends: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM .
- We offer flexibility for weekday availability, allowing tutors to choose their preferred hours within our operating times. However, mandatory availability is required on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
